Using PTZ Cameras to Simplify Live Streaming and Video Production w/ Paul Richards

11 AM PST Paul Richards Paul Richards is the Chief Streaming Officer for PTZOptics and creator of StreamGeeks. He is the author of several technology books, including "Helping Your Church Live Stream," “Live Streaming is Smart Marketing,” and "The Unofficial Guide to vMix." Richards teaches over 20,000 students on Udemy on live video production, mobile streaming and more. He has hosted the official NAB (National Association of Broadcasters) show in Las Vegas and is a thought leader in the industry, contributing regularly to publications such as Church Production, Rave Pubs, AVNation and others. About the presentation Given the changing production environment during and since the pandemic, broadcasters who have incorporated PTZ camera technologies have created more nimble scenarios for their teams. The automation offered by PTZ cameras enables production teams to incorporate more camera angles with fewer cameras and operators by creating presets for a variety of shots throughout a studio. PTZOptics’ engineers have made it a priority to design cameras that can be controlled remotely and over IP, alleviating the need for manual operation that traditional broadcast cameras require. As many of our customers are educational institutions and houses of worship, we know these groups don’t have a contingent of professional camera operators readily available. Flexibility has become a necessity.
